Children today sit far too much

In the car with parents, in class and in their free time.
This lack of movement negatively affects health, concentration and well-being.
In class, it often shows up as restless and unfocused kids.

Sensopro brings simple movement back into the classroom.
Standing on two unstable surfaces creates constant micro-adjustments throughout the body.
This helps activate when tired, improves attention and supports self-regulation.
Can be integrated into lessons or used during breaks.

How to use it

Children should stand on the Piccolo for 2 to 3 minutes per day.
Ideally spread across the day.
You can integrate it flexibly into lessons.
Children can decide when to use it within the given rules.

The science behind it

Movement on the Piccolo affects biomechanics, supports an upright posture and stimulates the nervous system.
Because the surfaces are unstable, the body reacts with constant micro-adjustments across the entire posture chain.
The brain receives more and more precise feedback and continuously organizes these signals to finely control the body.
It is not about moving as much as possible, but about becoming calm and stable.
This trains body control, attention and self-regulation.

Multiple sensory systems are activated at the same time

  • Proprioception from muscles and joints as the basis for coordination
  • Tactile feedback through the sole of the foot as a clear ground signal
  • The balance system in the inner ear for orientation and structured alertness
  • Vision through a steady gaze for stabilization
  • Hearing for spatial orientation

In a calm environment, regulation works better.
Teachers observe that children are already calmer after 2 minutes and can focus much better.
Sensopro Piccolo is not a miracle cure, but a tool that works best with consistency.
