Daniel was just 7 years old when he drove a car for the first time. And that was probably the moment his passion was awakened. As a teen, he regularly snuck out of the house in the evenings and careened around the winding roads in fast cars. Of course, he never told anyone about it.

Where did this passion for fast cars come from? His father, Herbert.
Herbert was perhaps the most famous and successful racing driver Switzerland has ever produced.

And Daniel took after his dad. Nothing was ever fast enough for the icon of Swiss motor-racing. And nor for his son Daniel.

«I couldn’t say that my back, my hips, or anything else was hurting. Everything hurt.»

The many hours in a racing car left their mark. He needed operations on both hips. His rehab on the Luna began shortly after his surgery.

Daniel is a fun-loving guy, and wants to stay that way. Which is why he is investing so much effort into his rehab. And it’s paying off. Dänu is making extremely fast progress – as you’d expect, we know he doesn’t do “slow”.

He can walk upright already. And carry on his active lifestyle. And of course drive those fast cars he loves.

«I’m surprised by how fast I recovered. I’m now doing everything I wasn’t able to do before.»
