Matrix

Our body is made up of many small parts known as cells. And they also need movement.
But how do you move cells?

What is it?

We’re talking about matrix training. However, in our world the matrix is real and it has nothing to do with science fiction. It's called extracellular matrix (ECM) and is in the intercellular space. Are you with us so far?

Imagine your body is composed of its smallest parts. It’s made of cells. Imagine they're all round and extremely numerous. Like the ball pools in the famous Småland play areas in the big Swedish furniture retailer. As round cells don’t really go together (unlike Lego building blocks) for example, the spaces between the cells are filled with water. And masses of molecules swim in the water, they are even smaller than cells. The ECM is made of fibres and liquid. Its composition differs depending on where it is in the body. It is a birth place and workshop for cells, a nutrient solution for our cell motors, healing balm for injured cells and sewerage for waste water all in one.

What matters now?

As you can imagine, the matrix also thrives on movement. You have to keep stirring the ball pool, to avoid crushing the balls on the bottom. And some paper shreds and lost items will rise to the surface. Dead cell material is transported away. And the liquid that distributes the nutrients is stirred.

Following injury, swelling appears around the wound. That is matrix liquid, a veritable “inflammation soup”. It contains everything needed for the healing process: fresh proteins as building blocks, sticky wound fluid to close the wound, special cells to do repair work like builders, immune cells to protect against infection.

However, every tissue is different. Muscles are structured differently to skin or bones. The inflammation soup is thus already customised. Early movement can help show the cells what their role is early on.

Where does Sensopro come in?

Matrix training is always gentle. It’s just about movement, not feeling the strain. To support the precise roles of the matrix. Stir the liquid, add new nutrients, show the cells where they need to become strong.

The training with Sensopro is so gentle that it allows you to do those things from the first day after your injury or operation. With matrix training. Or simply with a light bounce.
