Dave is our Sensopro all-rounder from team Austria. Always ready and highly motivated, he works as a tradesman on sites and occasionally as a tough-ass trainer in gyms.
Having grown up in Lassing (Styria), Dave now lives in Trieben. So, somewhere in Austria. At school, Dave attended HTL-Trieben specialising in mechanical engineering and production technology. I guess that’s why he likes our huge Luna so much.
Talking of machines – Dave is a bit of a machine himself. He was on the cusp of a football career when he played for SC Liezen in the top division of Styria. But he missed his home club SV Lassing too much. What Lassing lacks in footballing career opportunities, it makes up for in team spirit and sense of community. He also made it onto the Styrian ski squad before switching to ski touring. It looks like Dave is not set on sporting success. Still, there’s no denying his talent. There are others, like Glausi, who can only dream of such opportunities…
Team Austria describes Dave as a mixture of young, cheeky and kind of nice. He also has an irrepressible sense of humour and never says no to a good Austrian sausage salad. What Dave didn’t mention, but we know only too well, is his love for Switzerland. As a regular visitor to Münsingen, he will soon know his way around our office better than the entire Swiss team.
