Annemiek is 43. A year ago she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). She had an inflammation in her head, which led to her losing control of her right side. She also had major difficulty with her hand-eye coordination.

Annemiek went to the "Sport- en Revalidatiecentrum Kennemerland” centre in Haarlem for treatment. She began working on her rehab there. She has come on in leaps and bounds ever since and now enjoys a better life.

«They were able to help me here. And now I can return to my normal life.»

Annemiek started out with three training sessions per week. Now she goes twice a week. That shows how much things have improved. She also teaches yoga and tries to lead as healthy a life as possible. She is teetotal, does a lot of sport, meditates and allows herself frequent breaks.

Of course there is always that worry of the illness returning and her condition deteriorating. To keep these negative thoughts at bay, Annemiek tries to keep control of what she does and how she lives.

Annemiek finds ten minutes on the Luna totally different compared to all the other devices because the movements are dynamic. And it helps her brain as well as her balance and power. The Luna is also a challenge and fun to use.

«Sensopro combines so many things into one device.»
