Jan Urfer grew up in Belp and later moved to Spiez. For eight years, he helped shape Sensopro as CEO. He then passed the baton to Marc and moved to Sweden with his family. One year later, he’s back. Whether he really went there just for the cinnamon buns or had another reason remains a mystery to this day. Now he brings his ideas to the innovation team.
Most people probably still know him as our extremely talented mountain farmer from the old promotional videos.
Jan studied Sports Science and Psychology at the University of Bern together with Kaspar and Stefan, before becoming the first person to join Sensopro and support the team.
On weekends, you’ll find him on the ski slopes with his family. If you can spot him, that is. As a former SwissSki athlete, U16 Swiss Champion and veteran of more than 200 FIS races, he’s rarely moving slowly. In summer, he loves running, preferably without Stefan, who has an annoying habit of leaving him behind.
While in Sweden, he also discovered a new sport: kickboxing! Can he keep up with Sarina? We’ll find out soon enough in a show fight.
