Jan Urfer grew up in Belp and later moved to Spiez. He spent eight years shaping Sensopro as CEO before handing over the role to Marc. These days, he and his family are based in Sweden.
Most people probably still know him as our extremely talented mountain farmer in the old promotional videos.

Jan studied sports science and psychology at the University of Bern together with Kaspar and Stefan and joined Sensopro as our first support

On weekends, you can find him on the ski slopes with his family. If you see him, because as a former SwissSki skier, U16 Swiss champion and with over 200 FIS races under his belt, he is rarely slow. In the summer he loves to run, preferably without Stefan, because he always runs away from him.

In Sweden, he’s also discovered a new sport for himself: kickboxing! Whether he can keep up with Sarina? That’ll soon be revealed in a show fight.
