Helga has suffered from multiple sclerosis since 1990.
She would already be in a wheelchair were it not for therapy.

Standing on the moving tapes especially strengthens Helga’s self-confidence. She knows she can keep her balance unaided. The rails give her added security because she can hold onto them whenever she chooses.

Helga’s stance has been affected by the illness. She can very easily make up for that on the Luna. She can also train all her muscles from the feet up and, in particular, learn to stabilise her body.

Initially, Helga was very apprehensive about standing on the unstable tapes. Now, she is sure of herself, stands up unaided and does her exercises. Even after an hour, she can see significant progress. Afterwards she feels fit and can even walk freely.

Helga finds training on other devices boring.
«There is more going on with it», she says about the Luna. «You can also do many more things.»
