Urs Berger from Winterthur is a member of our administrative board and supports us with his great knowledge and experience in strategic topics. It might be related to his age as well but Urs is a real whizz-kid when it comes to the Swiss economy as he has been through pretty much every business scenario imaginable.
As president of the board of directors and former CEO of the Swiss insurance company Mobiliar, Urs Berger knows the processes and structures of the big players of the Swiss economy but still doesn't hesitate to help out when it comes the daily business and to tackle the challenges of small companies like ours.
His CV is simply too long to be fully included here and contains major positions such as mandates at insurance companies like Zurich or Baloise, at Basler Kantonalbank, BERNEXPO Holding, Gothaer Group, Loeb Holding and Jarowa AG, to name just a few. What's also very dear to him are the foundation for reimbursing asbestos victims and the Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation, both of which he presides at.
When it comes to sports Urs can easily compete with each and everyone of us (except for Stefan's table tennis skills) as he used to be a major league handball player. Thus, he is not only physically and tactically fit but also a fantastic team player.
