Sandra grew up in Affoltern in the Emmental. Together with quite a lot of cows. And maybe two or three other residents. From Affoltern, Sändi moved to Langnau in the Emmental. At some point, though, she said goodbye to the cow pastures and paid the ghetto of Ostermundigen a visit. Sometimes you just need a change of scenery.
She completed her commercial apprenticeship in Sumiswald and eventually landed in our administration team. If you already know our admin team, you might now assume that Sandra plays volleyball. But no. And for a change, it wasn’t Rita who brought Sändi on board. This time, it was Nik. And Sändi plays floorball. Really damn well.
The highlight so far? Definitely winning the Swiss Championship with Wizards Bern Burgdorf. Which means she fits right into our surprisingly successful floorball crew.
Besides floorball, Sändi also enjoys skiing and playing football. But again: no volleyball.
And by the way, floorball isn’t Sändi’s only hidden talent. At just 11 years old, she won a Speed Stacking tournament in Bern. If you also have no idea what that is, Google can help.
Pretty impressive that she managed to win such a coordination-heavy competition back then. Without any Sensopro training at all. Just imagine how good she’d be today...
