Our super salesman Auke comes from Castricum, a town near the coast. These days, however, he lives in Utrecht, from where he sells countless Lunas across the Netherlands. Like so many of us, Auke studied Sports. But not in Bern. At Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.
Auke’s biggest hobby is hitting “hole-in-ones” on the golf course. Or cooking on his Green Egg. Maybe one day he’ll cook for us in Münsingen? Besides that, Auke loves watching pretty much every sport at international level. The more screens, the better.
With Auke, we’ve got yet another golf pro in the company. His handicap is 11.0 and his goal is to get it down to single digits. Of course, he’ll have to play a few impressive rounds in Switzerland too. Maybe against our pro Märcu?
Auke also played volleyball at national level for G.S.V.V. Donitas and VV Utrecht. Unfortunately, he had to stop because of a serious ankle injury that simply wouldn’t get better. At least not before he discovered the Luna.
In his younger years, he also played tennis and football. Looks like we’ve got another all-round talent on our hands.
Any fun facts about Auke? Two, actually.
He has no bone in his nose.
And he plays better padel than Kaspar.
But better than Nadine? That remains to be seen.
