Janina’s career went pretty much exactly according to plan. So, not at all. (Her words!) She originally worked as a physiotherapist. Then she more or less accidentally ended up in Sales and has been there for around ten years now. So it seems it wasn’t such a bad coincidence after all.
Today, together with Andreas, she is taking over as Country Manager in Germany. She originally wanted to help people as a physiotherapist. Today, she just does it a little differently. Listening, understanding, reading minds. At least that last one is what Janina claims. A pretty unfair advantage in Sales, of course.
At home, three kids make sure her skills in organisation, negotiation and crisis management don’t get rusty after work. According to Janina, free time is something she mainly remembers from the distant past. But when it does make an appearance, she loves reading, photography or going diving.
There’s one thing she always finds room for, though: sweets. Stroopwafels, ice cream and pretty much anything along those lines. Once she gets started, stopping isn’t exactly her strength.
And then there are pigeons. She’s absolutely terrified of them. Reading minds, managing crises, organising three kids? No problem. A pigeon on the pavement? A whole different story.
I wanted to make a joke about paper. But it was too flat.
